POUTRELLES FEVER, are the meeting between a Kaiser Sauzé fan of the Stray Cats and a drunk looser with greased hair, a dance between a “manouche” poker player and an corrupted police officer, a passionate kiss that a stripper gave to a gangster in a 60’s Chicago. And if, in the time of a dream, Michigan Avenue and his mafia found theirselfs in the Bugey (France,01) But what is that the phenomenon Fever comes to associate to a beam (Poutrelle) you would ask me??!! What is the relation?? Where Is the coherence?? We know the legendary Saturday Night Fever for his devil dance steps, the Cabin Fever effect (feeling of closeness) knew Inuits hanging the long and shadowy polar winter or even the Chase Fever represented by that violent tempests hunters searching adrenaline
Sextet, born of an alchemic meeting during the spring of 2008 in this famous country of the Bugey (France,01), POUTRELLES FEVER composes a music printed with and electric and catching spontaneity. You must have the evidence. Their repertory is tainted with an ambient of chanson passed through the rock ‘n roll mincer of the TRUE rock ’n roll years and embellished with a dressing boost by a brass swing of the most athletics. Reinforced by this wise cocktail, the singing meanwhile interprets and lives very well their quotidian and universal feelings stories. Because the tone recalls engaged intentions with derision and gravity about the world where we live. Briefly , it`s no question of a tv report, but very much of reality. And reality is well there. Less than a year after its birth, the 6 musicians have already a considerable number of concerts to their active ; they have played more of 90 concerts all over France, Belgium, Italy, Switzerland and Spain, sign that shows pretty well their perspectives… Such kidnappers of decibels, their only ransom will be to access the most possible the scene with the finality to reveal all the measure of their franc EXPLOSIVE energy !!
