Maui y los Sirenidos is a young Band, who is finishing the introduction of their first album,
Flamenco Sumergio. They are preparing the second album, which will appear in October.
At the beginning, the project had a casual character, but Maui decides to change the nuance of the project and the Band with some of the best musicians of the Andalusia scene. They are the following:

Ramon Marchena: Flamenco guitarist from Utrera with classic and rock formation.
Alfonso Jiménez: Electric guitarist with influence of world, jazz and rock music. He is also responsible of some modern music schools in Granada.
Pancho Brañas: From Córdoba, he gave up his post as percussion teacher at the Conservatory in Jaen, to focus in the musical creation. He has got his own project and he is one of the most renamed persons. He has worked with such an important musicians like Enrique Morente or Jorge Pardo.
Juan Jesús Lopez: Self-taught pianist with an extensive great experience in local Bands.
Miguel Ramirez: Flamenco, as a guitarist, singer, clapper or dancer . He has composed songs for Bambino, he is guitarist with los Centellas and besides is the father of Maui.
Pablo Fernandez: Right hand of Maui from the beginning of the project, also author in some songs and bass guitarist for El Puchero del Hortelano too.
Maui Ramirez: She grown up in Utrera with flamenco parties, she studied piano and cello in the Conservatory of Utrera, La Linea and Granada. … They are her compositions and this is her Band.

These are the musicians who record Flamenco Sumergio, album self edited. After they edit 18 Chulos, the record company of El Cigala, Javier Ruibal, Javier Krahe…
Introducing this record, the band has given more than 80 concerts in Andalucia, Levante, Extremadura and Madrid has shared stage with very well known bands like Ojos de Brujo, La Cabra Mecanica, Tabletom or El Bicho among others. Currently his distribution is being prepared in France through the Company Mosaic. Besides, a homemade video clip is becoming famous abroad and it was awarded in the last WOMEX with the prize to the best musical clip by the north American channel LINK TV.
