Thomas Aussenac is a songwriter living in Barcelona. He performs an original and catchy music located between folk, rock and chanson française, singing in English and French. His songs wear the influences of artists as diverse as Dominique A, PJ Harvey and John Lennon.
On stage, Thomas plays guitar and sampler, supported by the fine powerful and precise upright bass of Johan Jacquemoud and the Flamenco and African percussions of David Faure. The trio transports their audience from the everyday to the world of blues, pop, reggae and jazz.
Thomas was finalist of the CQFD contests (summer and winter 2007) organized by Les Inrockuptibles and received numerous and excellent reviews for his first record, "It's Full Of Stars" as the singer-composer of the French duo Bishop.
"MySpace Artist of the month." - GoMag.
"Every song of the brilliant "It's Full Of Stars" is worth it." - Magic, Revue Pop Moderne.
