INTI, is the INCA Sun God ...
And it's also a tribe, a festive group of musicians with a roots-rock-reggae spirit who create a mystical sounding with brilliant brass, sunny rhythms and French/Latino words inviting to dancin' & trippin'.
The Tribe of Inka Ska!
The imagined mythical tribe left its Amerindian jungle, and with its transfigured naturality, almost "Rousseau-like", INTI invites yopu to its festive & chamanic round by the dance. The tribe surprises by the overwhelming scenic energy of its members and his Ska Inka, metized and solar beats which recall the most beautiful hours of La Mano Negra. And then, as soon as the INCA magic is called upon, the round transforms into a quechua tellurgic fright, until its paroxysm... until the final solar eruption! One comes out from the round with sunstrokes... One also suntans inside!
The contrasted texts lean messages from the Great Amerindian Tradition against madnesses of the Modern Civilization ("Pachamama", "La Grande Machoire", "Le Carré", "Ils sont fous"). The voyage under all its forms: the invasion as well as the invitation ("3Temps"), the dream and chamanic fright ("Brouillard"). Art, symbolism and the minorities are also approached, as in the Story of Man, the man who died from sorrow ("Kasane!), or adapted texts of Sitting Bull ("Pauvre Buffalo").
